Practical Support for Real Life
When a pregnancy is unplanned, stress can hit quickly. You may be wondering how you’ll afford what you need, what kind of support is available, and whether you’re ready for the changes ahead.
Many women and men feel overwhelmed by the practical side of pregnancy and parenting, even if they want to move forward.
At Harbour Health, we provide free, confidential education and material support to help you feel equipped, encouraged, and supported. No matter your situation, you don’t have to figure this out alone.
Education Through the B3 Program
Be Empowered. Be Equipped. Be Embraced.
Our B3 Program is designed to help clients grow in knowledge and confidence as they prepare for parenting and as they actively parent. Participants are paired with a dedicated mentor and meet weekly or biweekly for personalized support. Before each visit, clients receive educational videos to watch, allowing their time together to focus on encouragement, discussion, and practical application.
Through the B3 Program, clients not only gain valuable life and parenting skills—they also earn material items to help meet the needs of their growing family.
Earn Baby Supplies Through Participation
Each time you attend an appointment you receive diapers, wipes, and formula, as needed. As you complete your classes and stay engaged, you are able to shop in our on-site boutique for free. Items you receive may include:
- Maternity Clothing
- Baby clothing
- Baby food
- Baby equipment (pack n’ plays, car seats, strollers, etc…)
- Furnishings and other essential baby items
All of the items available are new or like-new.
Material resources and support are available until your child turns 2.
Community Referrals
In addition to material assistance, we provide trusted community referrals to help meet needs beyond the services we offer. If there is an area where we are unable to assist directly, we will connect you with reputable local organizations and resources to ensure you receive the support you need.
We also work with other local organizations to provide you with the community and financial resources that can guide you into a stable future. Services are free and confidential.
Support for Fathers
Men can also participate in education and support programs. Harbour Health provides mentoring and encouragement for fathers who want to step up with confidence through a men’s group that builds connections and accountability.
